EasyReach configurable TX + RX Beacon is a new advanced version of the Bluetooth Low Energy beacon. It designed for continuously broadcast signals for industrial asset visibility, location awareness, and IoT applications.
The ER-Beacon-V1.2 has been restructured with next-level transmission capabilities delivering up to 1-year battery life. This bidirectional powerhouse doesn’t just broadcast—it listens, responds, and enables a stronger, smarter flow of real-time data.
Unlike standard TX-only beacons, this dual-mode BLE beacon is ideal for advanced tracking, proximity marketing, and two-way communication scenarios. Built on industry-standard iBeacon technology, the BLE Beacon TX + RX delivers reliable performance, long battery life, and flexible configuration options long-term deployments. This advanced virtual Bluetooth® LE (vBLE) technology performs exceptionally well without draining the battery faster.

Easy Configuration with nRF Connect
Managing your beacon network is simple. You don’t need to be a programmer to set up the EasyReach beacon. With the nRF Connect mobile app, you have full control over your hardware. You can easily manage:
- TX Power: Balance your signal strength and battery usage.
- Asset Organization: Use UUIDs, Major Numbers, and Minor Numbers to categorize your inventory, equipment, tools, or warehouse zones.
- Secure Access: Set custom passwords to protect your beacon settings from unauthorized changes.
- Performance Monitoring: Keep track of your beacon’s health and signal status in real-time.
Configurable Parameters
Using the nRF Connect application, administrators can customize beacon settings without specialized hardware.
- TX Power: Adjust the Bluetooth transmission power to optimize coverage range and battery consumption.
- Major Number: Assign a Major ID to group assets by department, warehouse zone, production line, or project location.
- Minor Number: Assign unique identifiers for individual assets, equipment, pallets, tools, or inventory items.
- UUID: Configure a custom Universal Unique Identifier (UUID) for secure and organized beacon deployments.
- Password Protection: Prevent unauthorized access to beacon settings through configurable password protection.
- Advertising Interval: Control how often the beacon broadcasts BLE packets for the perfect balance between tracking performance and battery life.
Adjustable Advertising Interval
The Advertising Interval controls how often the beacon sends its Bluetooth signal. Adjusting this setting allows you to balance tracking performance and battery life in industrial asset tracking applications.
