1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Easyreach Solutions Pvt Ltd collects and uses data through the Refrigerator Monitoring System Retail Application. This app is designed for enterprise asset management and refrigerator monitoring.
2. Information We Collect
User Data: Store Name and Refrigerator Serial Number provided during registration.
Device Identifiers: Bluetooth MAC addresses of refrigeration units, device metadata and secure key authentication.
3. Why We Need Location & Background Access
Our app’s core functionality is to maintain the health and security of refrigeration assets.
Background Sync: To ensure data integrity, the app periodically scans for beacons in the background to download temperature logs and battery status—even when the app is not actively in use.
Asset Verification: GPS location is used to verify that the refrigerator is at its assigned retail site to prevent unauthorized asset movement.
Proximity Detection: We use Bluetooth to identify specific refrigerators (prefix EA:26:38) to initiate automated maintenance syncs.
Note: Location data is used strictly for asset management and is never sold or used for targeted advertising.
4. Data Security & Storage
Encryption: All data synced from refrigerators is encrypted using SSL/TLS during transit to our secure Spring Boot servers.
Authentication: Access is restricted via JWT (JSON Web Tokens) and secure Store Keys.
5. Third-Party Sharing
Data collected is shared only with the authorized asset owners for the purpose of equipment maintenance and logistics.
6. User Rights
You may revoke permissions (Location, Bluetooth) at any time through your device settings; however, this will disable the app’s ability to sync with and monitor your equipment.
