- User Contact Information: We collect and store mobile phone numbers of designated clients, store managers, and personnel authorized to receive operational notifications.
- IoT System and Telemetry Data: We log real-time telemetry metrics from your connected cold-storage units. This includes retail store location names, specific equipment/refrigerator identifiers, live temperature readings, and safe operating threshold limits.
- Communication Metadata: We process incoming interaction data transmitted via our WhatsApp webhook, including message read statuses, text replies, and interactive template button selection choices (e.g., alert acknowledgments).
2. How We Use Your Information
We process your personal and telemetry data strictly for functional utility and operational safety purposes, including:
- Automating the dispatch of high-temperature threshold alerts to prevent store inventory spoilage.
- Routing your interactive reply updates (such as “Mute” or “Acknowledge”) directly back into our Server monitoring controller.
- Maintaining system performance logs, diagnostic traces, and tracking automated alert delivery verification rates.
We do not use your phone numbers or telemetry metrics for unsolicited promotional marketing, tracking, or profile-building activities.
3. Data Sharing and Third-Party Disclosures
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. To route and deliver automated alerts, your data is securely shared with the following essential third-party service infrastructure:
- Meta Platforms, Inc. (WhatsApp Cloud API): Your mobile phone number, specific store names, and real-time equipment temperature parameters are securely proxied via HTTP POST payloads to Meta’s automated message delivery framework. Meta acts strictly as a data processor handling delivery logistics on our behalf.
4. Consent and Opt-In Management
By linking your store personnel’s phone numbers to our IoT hardware suite, you confirm that you have obtained explicit consent to route transactional utility messages to those devices.
- Opt-Out Options: Users can stop receiving alert notifications at any time by replying to any WhatsApp message with the keyword “STOP”, or by requesting changes directly through our client administrative account panel.
5. Data Security
We implement standard industry technical safeguards, including HTTPS protocol encryption endpoints, to secure your data during transit to our Spring Boot webhooks and Meta’s Graph API endpoints.
